Enzo Antonio is a Liberty Tana Lawn design that I have looked at repeatedly since first seeing it. I finally purchased it from Mel Storey and am so glad I did. Mel's photos are very true to the colours in the fabric so I got what I hoped for. Enzo Antonio is a fairly busy print but the gold with the blue on white actually makes it easy on the eye. I originally bought the fabric for making cushion covers for my sofa but I like it so much that I may make a blouse instead!

Love the Capel in this bright orange. Speedy delivery too which is great when you’ve realised you’re a bit short.

For me, “The Field of Hexagons” pattern and template is a wonderful first quilt. After months of indecision and feeling unconfident to begin, just not understanding colour choices (see Mel’s blog) having never straight stitched before…am quietly pleased.  It’s a creativity that has a lovely meditative rhythm, a pleasant discovery.  The pattern is quick to download with clear simple informative instructions.  Mel helped me understand a couple of small things I did not understand having not cut fabric shapes before.  I have the thread and use the shomo needles, both very good.  Am thrilled to be on my way, enjoying the process. Mel Storey’s website is a great one shop experience and Mel delivers wonderful customer service.

The templates are so well thought out. Cant wait to get started on my new hand-piecing journey.
